Registration Information
We would love to have your family become a part of our school. Making the decision to enroll begins by speaking with our Registrar to understand the operations of a cooperative preschool, have your questions answered and have a school tour. We have several ways for you to Contact us for your convenience (email, phone, Facebook) to make joining as easy as possible.
We ask that you take a tour of the school before registering your child. If you cannot make your scheduled tour, please contact the registrar and reschedule as soon as possible. Once you decide to enroll, you will give the completed pre-registration form to our registrar and pay the non-refundable registration fee of $60 to hold a place in the class. The fee can be paid with cash or check. After your pre-enrollment in confirmed, you will complete a full enrollment packet. You will also attend an orientation meeting if you are enrolling before the school year begins. Finally, it's class time! |

Enrollment for an upcoming school year is open first to currently enrolled families beginning February 1st. Children returning to the same class will have priority over children moving from another MCP class. Open enrollment for the general public begins the fourth Monday in February. A completed pre-registration form and fee must be submitted to hold a spot for the upcoming year.
A wait list is created for each class when the maximum number of enrolled students is reached. Enrollment and wait lists are "first come, first served". Prospective parents must complete and submit a pre-registration form and pay the registration fee for a student to be on the official class roster. - A child must be two years old by August 31st in order to register for the 2's class.
- A child must turn three by August 31st in order to register for the 3-5 classes.
Exceptions to the enrollment age requirements may be made under certain circumstances by petition. This is the process:
- A letter explaining the reason for the petition shall be submitted to the Board. The letter may be mailed, emailed or delivered to the Executive Chair. The petition will be reviewed by the Teacher, Parent Educator and the Board. If approved, a four week trial period will be granted. Upon completion of the trial period, the Teacher, Parent Educator and Board will meet to review the child’s class placement and make a final recommendation.
